Michael Bronstein, Principal

Michael Bronstein is the co-founder and president of Bronstein & Weaver, Inc. - a leading Democratic political media and strategic messaging firm. In 2011, Michael was named to the Democratic “Dream Team” of American Political Consultants and featured as a “Mover & Shaker” by Politics Magazine. Michael was a recipient of Politics Magazine’s Rising Star Award, named a “Top Ten” political consultant by PA2010.com, and listed as one of the 500 most "influential" political consultants in the country by Campaigns & Elections Magazine. 

He is a frequently sought commentator and has appeared in numerous media outlets including: Wall Street Journal, Politico, CNN, Roll Call, BBC News 24, CBS Radio, Radio France, BBC 5 Live, Jewish Exponent, National Journal, and Reuters - to name just a few. Michael has served as a guest lecturer on campaign strategies at Campaigns & Elections “Art of Political Campaigning” conference, George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management, and Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. 

Before co-founding Bronstein & Weaver, Inc., Michael worked for the British Labour Party for Prime Minister Tony Blair’s reelection campaign, where he helped manage the design and creation of the Labour Party’s national media. Prior to the 2005 General Election, Michael worked in the House of Commons where he served as a parliamentary researcher to Rt. Hon. James Purnell MP.

Michael has served in many political capacities such as an appointed mayoral advisor in upstate New York, an intern in the Clinton White House, a spokesman for Democratic organizations, and is a member of many civic boards. In 2010, Michael was elected to the board of the American Association of Political Consultants mid-Atlantic chapter and was recently named to Campaigns & Elections’ Magazine’s prestigious ‘Publisher’s Circle’. Additionally, Michael serves as an Ambassador to the New Leaders Council and is the National Deputy Issue Advocacy Adviser to the Young Democrats of America. 

Michael earned his undergraduate degree in American Studies from Cornell and attended the London School of Economics as a Hansard Scholar. He currently resides in Philadelphia, PA.


Matthew Weaver, Principal

Matthew Weaver is the co-founder of Bronstein & Weaver, Inc. - a leading Democratic political media and strategic messaging firm. In 2010, Matthew was named one of Pennsylvania’s “Top Ten” political consultants by PA2010.com and in 2011 he received Campaigns & Elections Magazine’s Rising Star Award. The techniques Matthew has perfected have been hailed as the most precise ‘pinpoint urban micro-targeting’ by Politics Magazine and placed him among “a new crop of stars” in the political consulting industry. In 2013, Matthew was listed as one of the 500 “most influential” political consultants in the country by Campaigns & Elections Magazine. He is a frequently quoted expert on matters of targeting, quantitative research, and voter modeling.

Matthew is not only an authority on electoral analysis, he has also been at the forefront of political targeting innovation. Recently, he has been an advocate for a new “experiment informed program” that has revolutionized targeting and delivery of message. Additionally, Matthew’s advertising work has received numerous awards. In 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 Matthew’s work has either won or been a finalist for the Stanley F. Reed award for excellence in political advertising - including in the categories of “Best Bare-knuckled Street Fight Victory”, “Best Campaign Comeback”, and “Toughest Radio Ad”.

Matthew serves on the board of several non-profits, both political and arts related. He has also worked as an analyst at a Community Development Venture Capital fund based in Philadelphia, focusing on “double bottom line” investment opportunities.

Matthew earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University and has a master’s degree from the London School of Economics. Both his undergraduate and graduate academic theses won awards in recognition of original research and quantitative analysis. He currently resides in Philadelphia, PA.
